Camp Mulla
Camp Mulla is an alternative Hip hop group originating from Kenya. The group was co-founded in mid-2009 by Mykie Toni (Michel Mutooni), Shappaman (Bonoit Kanema) and Thee MC Africa (Mathew Wakhungu). Karun (Karugari Mungai) and Kus Ma (Marcus Kibukosia) joined later. Their hit single “The Party Don’t Stop” received extensive air play locally and is credited as to having brought the group into the Kenyan music main stream. Their subsequent releases saw them win numerous local awards culminating to being nominated at the 2012 BET Awards for the "Best International Act – Africa" category, becoming the first Kenyans ever do so. At present the group is said to have gone their separate ways in pursuit of individual careers.
