Emmy Kosgey
Emmy was brought up in a staunch Christian family and started singing at a very tender age at her local church. She began recording collaborations in high school and at church with the “Maximum Melodies”, a gospel singing group based in Kenya. She after a while she decided to go solo into what turned out to be a successful career. She has released five albums with the latest one being “Sobei Cheiso”. Her authentically African style is inspired by other gospel artistes such as Keke, Esther Wahome and Rebecca Malope. In addition to her music career she runs the Emmy K House of Fashion, the label that makes most of her clothing designs. Emmy also operates a school known as Hope Academy, which has 72 students where she finances the education of 37 of the children.
